Holocaust Survivors

Home / Holocaust Survivors

The Holocaust survivors, who are rapidly declining in numbers, witnessed as children the terrible genocide of the Jews during World War II. Today they are older adults living in the country of their forefathers. Their memories are full of remembrances of cruel harassment and persecution. Currently many of them live in the Jewish State of Israel, able to protect against anti-Semitism, poverty and humiliation. However, bitter roots of resentment and pain still break their hearts. The local congregation has been ministering to these people since 2008. The Ministry “Return to Zion” has already developed a long and warm relationship with the community of people who survived the horror of the Holocaust. Students of the art and music school often organize concerts and creative evenings. On Jewish holidays our team prepares festive events and banquets. Often partners from abroad join, eager to take part in the lives of these people.
