Soup Kitchens and humanitarian storage – this is an opportunity to serve people not only by word but by practical ministry! We serve needy groups of people, including many who have bin diagnosed with mental disabilities, and cooperate with the social services in Haifa and Nazareth. We believe, that simply giving food and clothes to these people, we provide them with a piece of the Light of the One who inspired us for this work. Today, the main recipients from our kitchens are people from low-income families referred to us by the authorities, who, in the beginning, do not want anything to do with us. Today, aid offices to the poor, social workers, employees of national security, and even employees of employment agency send us people who are in need.
Humanitarian ministry in Haifa and Nazareth is helping many families. What an extraordinary blessing. The Torah and the New Testament teach about mercy. There is no other way in which we can most effectively imitate our heavenly Father than by helping people in need!
